Highlights

When showing a map for an item, Alexandria will first check Copy Location for an applicable map, then Call Number.

Important

We’ve removed all legacy interfaces; check your saved bookmarks to make sure they are updated. If you have ideas for improvements or changes to Alexandria, submit an idea!

New and Improved

Preferences

  • We’ve made some small improvements to the z39.50 area of preferences; you can now edit the servers in the default set.
  • Monarch results in Alexandria, and Alexandria results in Monarch, can now be filtered for site-specific results. Check your Preferences > Services > Monarch ‘District/Site URL’ to see if it’s using your district or site URL.

Operations

  • Needed for Reservation Notice has been renamed Needed for Reservation List.
  • Summary files for FTP imports now show the names of the files that were imported.

Search

  • Reviews Management now limits review records to those belonging to patrons at the logged-in site.
  • In Search full details, if a title has author tags in both 1xx and 7xx, the first of each now shows.

Fixed

Dashboard

  • We’ve fixed an issue where if there were no messages in Dashboard, you couldn’t click some dashboard buttons.

Imports

  • Imports were making you confirm field mapping when you have headers in your files. Now you don’t have to do that anymore.

Researcher

  • Reviews Management decided that reviews could be ‘too long’ at a length that isn’t too long. We’ve corrected its behavior and you can now approve those reviews!
