24.5 Release Notes

This release brings some useful improvements and bug fixes.

IMPORTANT
Legacy interfaces—such as the old Circulation window shown below—are going away soon! If you still use them, take this survey to let us know why.

New and Improved

Items/General

  • We’ve looked over all the snackbar notifications (e.g. when you remove a copy) and updated them to always include an X so you can get rid of them. This is especially useful when they cover up buttons!

Search

  • In Search, Full Details now show the 500 (general note) and 505 (formatted content note).

Fixed

Imports

  • Improvements to the Patron Picture Import, as well as the Item and Textbooks Cover Art imports, should help these imports run smoother.
  • Mackin imports weren’t correctly deleting the files after an import; this has been fixed.

Reports

  • Top Circulated Titles report shows more accurate values for December.

Slideshow

  • Something funky was going on with Slideshow URLs. We’ve corrected the behavior and going forward your links should work as expected!

Search

  • Group Search now correctly lets you switch which group you are viewing.
  • We’ve fixed Reviews in the new Search so that it’s not cutting off the reviews before you can read them!
