Highlights

Report Upgrades

First, the Title Information report has some new options to show or hide copy information. For Brief format (Alexandria only) you can hide the copies column, and the Detailed format (Alex+TT) lets you exclude the copy table. Now your report won’t be outdated as soon as someone checks a copy out!

Next, the Patron Details Summary report now has an option to include cover art, so your patrons can identify their items better!

Last (but not last), Patron Payment History and Refunded Payments reports now have a Landscape format, so you can see long-winded Reason text for a charge.

Loaned Items – Posting List

If you want to give teachers a list of Textbooks checked out by students in their class, so they can collect them at the end of the year, you’ll love this new Textbook Tracker feature! The new Posting List format for the Loaned Textbooks Information report lets you group by titles and the patrons who have a copy, or group by the individual patrons and the items they have checked out. The Posting List hides the patron’s barcode, so you don’t have to worry about sharing sensitive information. This one’s for you, Heather!

New and Improved

We’ve made some minor improvements to authentication for Google SSO and Email services.

Circulation

  • You’ve been asking, and here it is: Copy Location now shows in the Current Item pane in Circulation.

Operations

  • Report (and other operation) categories have been updated, and categories that are no longer used have been removed.
  • Export Patron Fines no longer combines fields for barcode-title or for date-status; these fields are all separate so you can manipulate the columns and import separately into other systems.
  • Running a Copy Information report with a Sort By of Copy Location now has a more useful subsort of Call Number.

Fixed

Circulation

  • Prior checkouts in Copy Stats were not showing properly even with privacy options turned off. We’ve fixed this.

Inventory

  • When performing inventory with duplicate barcodes, ‘declare lost’ wasn’t declaring lost. The utility is now working as expected.

Imports

  • Clever staff_id is now getting properly synced to Alexandria.

Reports

  • Patron Financials Brief report was leaving out patrons with a credit balance but no charges; now those patrons are included on the report.

Search

  • There were some problems displaying the correct Map by Copy Location in centralized data. The problems have been wiped off the map.
