Building bulletin boards

Miss Honey and her staff are having a back-to-school book fair, and are looking for a way to get the word out to patrons, teachers, and parents. What better way than by building a Bulletin Board in Alexandria! Miss Honey can create a special bulletin board with info about the fair, and even post google forms for fair and volunteer sign-ups.

Bulletin Board basics are covered in our best practices article and our bulletin builder support page, so review those first if you’re new to curating bulletin boards (or just want a refresher).

  1. Create the Google form you want to include in your bulletin.
  2. Go to Builder > Bulletin Boards and unlock the window.
  3. Click Create a board. Create your board, then use the plus sign to add a bulletin.
  4. In your finished Google form, click the Send button in the top right. This will open the top window shown on the right.
  5. Click the < > section, then select and copy and HTML show under “Embed HTML.”
  6. Paste the HTML into the Bulletin Text box in Alexandria.
  7. Make sure to click Save when you’re done!

Got a more in-depth form to share? Link to them using html: <a href=”http://form.url”>form name</a>

A book fair isn’t the only way you could utilize bulletin boards.
